Ian started rock climbing when 12 years old having been hill walking and mountaineering for 5 years. Personally climbing in most of the UK and throughout Europe.

After progressing through two careers, always climbing for pleasure, he completed all his qualifications one after another ultimately leading to his Mountain Instructors Certificate, and more recently International Mountain Leader. This allows him to take you on rock, ice and mountains any where non glacial in Europe.

He has held contracts, at both National Mountain Centres as an instructor and also been an officer of the Mountain Leader Training Board, and Youth Officer for the BMC, but now has returned to Professional Instructing from bases in both the North of England and the Haute Alps in the south of France.

Bev started rock climbing when she was 20 years old and quickly progressed to climbing extreme in the UK and Alpine routes abroad.

She has her own career as an Independent Child Care Consultant, parallel to her personal climbing and also professionally instructing, holding a Summer Mountain Leader Award, SPA and having completed her MIA Training and Winter ML Training.
